The research on renewable energy is actively looking into electrocatalysts based transition metal chalcogenides because nanostructured support the higher intrinsic activity for both hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) and oxygen (OER). A major technique facilitating conversion of sustainable electrochemical water splitting. aim review to discuss revelations made when trying alter internal external nanoarchitectures chalcogenides-based enhance their performance. To begin, a general explanation water-splitting given clarify key factors in determining catalytic performance electrocatalysts. delve many ways being employed improve HER’s electrocatalytic performance, fabrication processes utilized generate materials are described. Similarly, OER electrocatalysts, applied complementary techniques strategies involved designing bifunctional (HER OER) explained.
